Supporting the youth of Guinea remains the primary goal that the Makongo Family Charity Foundation (MAFAC) has set for itself. This is why it has decided to support the initiative of the Guinean Federation of Hiking and Sports for All (FEGRAPE) aimed at fostering peace and social cohesion in Guinea.
The march, hand in hand, started this Saturday, May 11, 2024, from the Place des Martyrs to the esplanade of the September 28 Stadium, with the participation of officials from the National Youth Council of Guinea (CNJ-GUINEA), MAFAC, the President of the Youth of Kaloum, and the Committed Youth of Guinea for peace and social cohesion.
The sponsor of the event was Mrs. Lauriane Doumbouya, the First Lady of the Republic.
After covering several kilometers, the CEO of the Makongo Family Charity Foundation (MAFAC), Dr. David Makongo, expressed his great satisfaction with the march and congratulated the Guinean youth and the organizers of the event. He added, “We must acknowledge that this is a great victory you have achieved by organizing a march around peace and social cohesion.”
Furthermore, Dr. David Makongo reminded everyone, “Today, nothing can be done without peace. This is why we must ensure that peace prevails positively in the Republic of Guinea. The ambition of the President of the Republic, General Mamadi Doumbouya, is for Guineans to live together in peace, united in the same cause, because this country is different from other countries in the sub-region in terms of courtesy, kindness, and unity.”
“So, we must make sure that all these values are maintained in Guinea. Today, we are committed to supporting Guinea and strengthening peace and national unity among the sons and daughters of this country because without peace, there is no development.”
In conclusion, Dr. David Makongo commended the President of the Republic, General Mamadi Doumbouya, for everything he is doing to help the youth of Guinea move forward.
